Gold Guardian Award
The Anatolian Shepherd Dog that has defeated more Anatolian Shepherd Dogs than any other dog in AKC competition during the calendar year (January 1 – December 31).

ASDCA/AKC Top Owner-Handled Dog Award
To celebrate the dedication and enthusiasm of owner-handler exhibitors the American Kennel Club created the AKC National Owner-Handled Series. This non-titling competition is held at select dog shows across the country. The ASDCA recognizes those that are participate in this competition.
The ASDCA/AKC Top Owner-Handled Dog Award is awarded to the Anatolian Shepherd Dog that has defeated more dogs (breed and all-breed) than any other dog in AKC competition during the NOHS qualifying period for that year. This award is regardless of sex.

Based on the number of Champion offspring as published in the AKC New Titles Report. Only Champion titles are counted. The requirements are as follows:
Sire of Distinction – 15 or more
Dam of Distinction – 10 or more
Sire of Merit – 8 – 14
Dam of Merit – 5 – 9
The owners of Hall of Fame producers are not recorded as they may change over the lifetime of the dog, and the ASDCA has no means of determining the ownership of an untitled top producer. Breeders are also not listed. The titles (such as championship or performance titles) of Hall of Fame producers are not recorded as new titles can be achieved throughout the lifetime of the dog. Induction into the Hall of Fame is for all Anatolian Shepherd Dogs, whether or not they are owned by ASDCA members, but award certificates are issued to ASDCA members only.
